New Forest Sustainable Business Network

SBP New Forest LogoThe Sustainable Business Network is a new, free initiative which has been designed to help support you as a business to improve your sustainability credentials, and reap the rewards that this will bring. More and more businesses are coming to recognise that by taking action on their environmental, social and economic impacts - for example by cutting energy use, reducing waste or up skilling staff - they can make significant savings on their bottom line or increase profitability. Building on a successful model which has operated across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight for a number of years, the SBP has now teamed up with New Forest District Council, along with a number of other key local organisations from the public and private sector to create a new resource aimed specifically at the needs of the local economy. Independent and business-led, the New Forest Sustainable Business Network provides all of its members to a range of resources including quarterly information, training and networking events designed to introduce you to a series of key topics and opportunities, access to experts in a wide range of sustainability-related topics, direct 1:1 support and guidance, case studies and more.

Membership of the Network is open to any business in the New Forest area, is entirely free and comes with no obligation. To join your local SBN simply provide the Network or New Forest District council with your contact details (e-mail to sustainable.business.partnership@hants.gov.uk or call 01962 845591), or if you would prefer to find out more first visit our website at www.the-sbp.co.uk
