Welcome to Local Land Charges

These Officers can be contacted by:

DX       Local Land Charges, DX 123010, LYNDHURST 2

What services do we provide?

The Team provides and maintains the statutory Local Land Charges Register. As with the majority of registers the Council keeps, this is computerised and cannot be directly searched by the general public.

The Team processes official searches comprising the Land Charges Register (form LLC1) and Enquiries of the Local Authority (form CON 29):

The LLC1 official certificate form records various restrictions on land including Tree Preservation Orders, Enforcement Notices and Listed Buildings.

The CON 29 answers various questions about the property including:  full planning history; adopted highways and traffic schemes; building regulation applications; environmental health notices and local plan policies.

The Team also carries out Personal Searches of the Local Land Charges Register and answers any additional questions asked on Environmental Information the Council holds.

Local Land Charges Search fees are set annually as part of the corporate process.
